Hello, I'm Martine

A Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) and mum to 3 amazing humans, I work with individuals, parents and families who want clear, supportive guidance around food and nutrition.

With a BSc in Food & Nutrition and an MSc in Public Health Nutrition, I combine evidence-based guidance with practical, real-life experience.  I also have NHS experience supporting families navigating feeding challenges, sensory eating and restricted diets.

My approach focuses on realistic, personalised strategies that can be adapted across every stage of life.

All About Me

My work within the NHS supporting families whose children experienced fussy eating, selective eating and food sensitivities showed me how stressful food and nutrition concerns can become when people are trying to do the best for themselves or their family.

Alongside my professional experience, I also bring lived experience as a parent. Our family has navigated many of the same food and sensory challenges that I see in the families I support. This perspective has shaped the way I approach nutrition — with empathy, flexibility and an understanding that real life rarely fits neatly into textbook advice.

Although much of my NHS work focused on children and families, my work through MK Nutrition supports people across the entire life course. I work with individuals of all ages who want to better understand their relationship with food, improve their nutrition, or find practical strategies that fit their lifestyle and personal needs.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based nutrition but always adapted to the individual. Whether someone is navigating selective eating, managing health concerns, supporting their child’s eating habits or simply wanting clearer guidance around food, my aim is to provide support that feels realistic, balanced and achievable.

My goal is to help people feel more confident and less overwhelmed when it comes to food and nutrition, no matter their age, background or starting point.
